Learn more about Revenue-Based Financing at an Oct. 8 webinar sponsored by Cook County's Small Business Source. Revenue-based financing (also called a merchant cash advance) is a flexible funding model where businesses receive upfront capital and repay it through a fixed percentage of future revenue. Unlike traditional loans with set monthly payments, your repayment adjusts with your sales—lighter payments during slower months, larger payments during strong sales periods. Key benefits include no collateral requirements and you maintain full ownership of your business. This financing works well for expansion, equipment purchases and working capital needs. To learn more, join Allies for Community Business (A4CB) on Thursday, October 8, at 11 AM at this online webinar. The new section moves the old bike path out of the flood plain, and includes large sections of boardwalk and resurfaced paths. I'm proud of work on this project. As a Cook County Commissioner, I'm glad that Cook County can continue to serve residents with improvements to the Cook County Forest Preserves.
