Our very own District Council 008- CCPSA in partnership with Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch hosted the second annual Garfield Ridge Residents vs. 8th District Chicago Police Department Softball Game at Wentworth Park. CPD won the game for the 2nd straight year 11-9 and took a victory ride on the Fire It Up Now truck.

It was a great event that promoted, strengthened, and bridged the gap between residents and the Chicago Police. It provides officers a chance to decompress and have fun. Seeing our police officers connect with neighbors and having fun is always the best!

Thank you to Quinn & Guerrero-Cuellar Service Office for sponsoring this year's trophy, 23rd Ward Alderman Silvana Tabares, Wentworth Park, DJ Rob and 8th District Chicago Police Department Officers for taking part.
