On Wednesday, Alderman King attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the 43rd St. Pedestrian Bridge, which spans DuSable to Lake Shore Drive.
This new overpass will provide greater accessibility and safety for wheelchair users, bicyclists, and emergency vehicles. A huge thank you to all those who made this project possible!

On Wednesday, Alderman King joined a panel with representatives from the Chicago Housing Authority, Eastlake Management, and operation managers of the Judge Slater property. During the meeting, residents had an opportunity to voice their concerns and needs about their living conditions. The CHA CEO, Chief of Staff, Director of Security, and Director of Capital Projects were on the panel to respond to the concerns raised. The town hall covered issues such as elevators, pest control, management concerns, and public safety.
