Join us for an enlightening evening with Prof. Eric Zwick, who will be delivering a talk titled “Top Inequality from the Bottom Up” on Wednesday, May 1st at 6 PM in SHFE 247.

Prof. Zwick, a noted scholar in the fields of finance and behavioral economics, examines the intricate ways in which public policy intersects with corporate behavior. His research spans critical areas such as fiscal stimulus, taxation, and housing policy, employing a robust mix of methodologies including new data, natural experiments, theoretical frameworks, and anecdotal evidence.

Oeconomica is hosting a faculty talk with Professor Juanna Schrøter Joensen on Monday, April 15 from 6-7pm in Harper 140.

Professor Joensen is a Research Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, and her work focuses primarily on understanding income and wealth inequality, which she studies by analyzing the causes and consequences of individual human capital investments.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A period where you can ask Professor Joensen questions about her presentation and her general research. A pizza dinner will be served during the talk as well.
