Agape Center NRV celebrates and honors our faithful volunteer, Linda Bland!💜

Linda has served in clothing ministries from 2013 to 2026, dedicating her time and heart to both Caleb’s Closet and Agape Center.💜

Linda’s vision of creating a clothing boutique where Agape neighbors feel like they’re shopping in New York City will forever remain a special part of her legacy. We are deeply grateful for her years of faithful service, compassion, and dedication to our community.💜

Linda’s beautiful smile and compassionate heart will be greatly missed at the Agape Center. May the Lord continue to bless Linda as she serves Him in the days ahead.💜

Thank you, Linda, for making a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors!💜

Our brothers and sisters in Christ at Compassion Church in Radford are hosting their 1st Annual Glory Days Cruise-In on September 19th!🎉

Our most important mission at Agape Center NRV is to introduce our friends and neighbors to a Christ centered life. The folks at Compassion Church exemplify that life, so it is our pleasure to work together with them as they host this event!🎉

All of our car, truck, and bike loving friends are invited to share a day of family fun and fellowship. Please bring 3 canned food items that day to donate to Agape. As the car show season draws to a close, come out and join us!🎉

The Agape Center NRV wants say THANK YOU to Troy Long, Pastor Jamey Hutton, Jeff Zoellner and the Hearts and Hammers group from Blue Ridge Church for their hard work (in the hot sun!) as they replaced the roof on our pantry building.🙌

The old shingle roof had been described by a contractor as a "zombie", because it had been “dead” for many years… as he then handed me a quote for $30,000! At that price, we wanted to see the roof as alive ~but then a strong gust of wind delivered a fresh batch of worn shingles into our parking lot. We knew then that it was truly dead!

These gentlemen donated their time and saved Agape approximately $23,000 ~money that can be devoted to benefiting our neighbors in need. So, thank you, Troy, Jamey, Jeff, and Hearts and Hammers. May your roof live a long life!🙏

Agape Center NRV honors Dolly Parton and her contribution to childhood literacy.💜

Agape Center NRV is proud to have been an information resource for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library over the past two years. In our center one can find pamphlets, which will lead to an easy sign up process for free books from Imagination Library.💜

The program offers free books for newborns through age 5. So please, take advantage of this amazing program that Dolly Parton established over three decades ago!💜

May Dolly Rebecca Parton rest in peace, and may God bless her family and all those she has generously helped over her lifetime. 🙏
