Sheriff Les K. Hill reports a fatal collision on Bullittsville Road in Hebron on Sunday night.

After having a little time to reflect about the tragedy over this past weekend, there were a few things that I would like to express.
In all of my professional experiences, I have never seen a team come together so quickly and so efficiently to address a crisis. Thousands of people volunteering their time for the foot search, all the resources that became available to us without hesitation, allowing for an aerial, foot, and water search all at the same time. It was truly amazing and we are so grateful.
To the northern Kentucky community I want to thank you above all for your kindness, your compassion and your willingness to help.  Thank you to all of the businesses that made contributions to take care the first responders and the searchers.
This community showed up with love and kindness in a beautiful way and I am so proud to be part of it.

Today is such a sad day for our community. With the events of the mass shooting in Florence, our fears became a reality.
Today's events brought together our community resources, including but not limited to, Florence Police Department, CSI, Detectives, and EMS. Also Boone County Sheriffs Office, Boone County Coroners Office, and Emergency Management. It is an honor to work with these people who are professional and compassionate. The team players came together to get the job done and I am very thankful.
