In a year unlike any other, NKOA was very successful serving the Tri-State's needy children. A heartfelt thanks to all of you who made this possible!

Total dollars raised since the founding of NKOA in 1952 – 26,285,792.68
Total amount disbursed to serve children over the last decade - $4,431,087.21

WOW! The success of NKOA's is AMAZING!
Recognizing the commitment to our area’s neediest children, NKOA donors greatly out did previous year’s donations. A new record of $18,701 was raised compared to $12,448 in 2019. Thank you so much for these wonderful results! NKOA’s fund raising is just beginning this season, let’s build on this early success!

inspires personal philanthropy and encourages bigger, better and smarter charitable giving during the holiday season, showing the world truly gives as good as it gets.
Since its founding in 2012, has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours,
and activities that bring about real change in communities.

The 9th Annual will take place December 1st
Neediest Kids of All is again partnering with this worldwide movement in hopes of supporting our fundraising effort. We encourage our donors to help fight childhood poverty by making a gift for the purchase of basic necessities for our area's needy children, including face masks and hand sanitizer.
Children in over 700 schools and Head Start sites and foster children in the juvenile court system will benefit.

Great news and a great big thank you! raised $12,448. You all blew right by last year's total. So many children will be touched by this. Thank you.

On behalf of the kids …. Thank You!

Thank you for the funds to help our students. Last year 21% of the student population was identified as homeless; another 184 were identified as living in foster care. 90% of the students qualify for free and reduced lunch. These NKOA funds will help many of our students be able to get what they need so they can focus on their education.

A Project Coordinator shared, "I cannot imagine how we would be able to help our families and their needs without the NKOA funding. I have over 600 students identified as homeless, which does not include the many other children who are at-risk and have high basic needs. Our district is 90% free/reduced lunch, 15% homeless, and 35% transient. Your funds make it possible for us to remove some of the financial burdens families are facing when trying to clothe their children. We are fortunate to have your organization as a partner."

One of the Head Start directors wrote, "Our children's needs are great as they live in such poverty but they are well and warmly clothed thanks to the NKOA resources. I see coats, gloves, hats, warm socks, etc. which provide security for these little ones. Thank you on behalf of our little ones."

Good news to report today ....Such generous NKOA donors contributed a record high $8520 for ! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A recent donor shared, "Our grandchildren and great grandchildren have what they need, so we can help others a little bit. Our daughter teaches and sometimes tells us about the students needing everyday items like socks and underwear, gloves, etc. Thank you for all you do to help our little ones."

Here's the latest news on the impact of NKOA: $885,125.39 was raised last year, $23,155,601.91 have been raised since 1952. Over the last decade $4,043,313.42 were disbursed to help children, 115,331 children were helped over the last decade, and 238,187 items were purchased. Loyal donors make this possible .... thank you so much!

A donor recently shared his memories of having holes in his shoes and his mother putting cardboard in them to protect his feet. He thanked NKOA for being there for children who might experience the same thing.
