Shelterhouse is looking for a dedicated Cook to help prepare and serve meals. This role is essential in making sure our residents receive safe, nutritious meals in a clean and organized kitchen.

• Prepare and serve meals following our daily menu
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

We’re hiring at Shelter House!

Position: Resident Aid
Help support men and women experiencing homelessness in Cincinnati.

What you’ll do:
• Monitor safety and enforce policies
• Support residents and connect them to resources
• Assist with bed checks, meals, and daily operations
• Provide emotional support and help de-escalate situations

Pay: $19.00/hour
Shifts: 2nd & 3rd shift needed

What we’re looking for:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year customer service experience
• Experience with homeless, mental health, or addiction populations (preferred)
• Ability to work weekends/holidays

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to make a real impact.
