Looks like we've got a break in the rain to finish putting up the Hoffner Park holiday lights today (Saturday 12/17) at 3pm. Won't you please help?

Today, Northside representatives met with the City Of Cincinnati Government to discuss implementing pedestrian safety options already requested by the Northside Community Council in our letter dated 9/19/2016. The city was hugely receptive and is already working on these 4 points: 1) Immediate crosswalk repainting, 2) New traffic signage to bring the street into code, 3) Purchase and installation of electronic signage to tell drivers their speed and gather traffic data, and 4) Police ENFORCEMENT of existing traffic laws through ticketing. BE AWARE: Police can give out tickets for jaywalking pedestrians, too... This is the start of a great dialogue to help make our streets safer!

The Northside 4th of July Parade happens tomorrow, rain or shine, and there will be Kegs & Eggs in Hoffner Park starting at 8:30! We'll have breakfast goodies from Tickle Pickle, Waffo Food Truck, and Jenn's Hot Tamales, and the Northside Rock & Roll Carnival beer taps will be flowing. It's a great place to see the end of the parade with a beer in your hand, come join us?
