What's better than a fire safety talk? A Nerf battle with firefighters afterwards! 🔥🔫

Our Unit 3 crew had an absolute blast at the rec center Friday evening, chatting with the kids from the IMPACT 57 youth program about safety. After the important stuff, it was firefighters vs. kids in an epic Nerf showdown! Let's just say at least one of our crew members came very prepared. So much fun for everyone!

Be a Good Neighbor !!!!!!
Evendale does not have snow emergency routes. However, you can help yourselves, your neighbors, the Service Dept and the PD and FD by not parking on the street if at all possible during this large incoming winter storm.
The single biggest obstacle to clearing residential streets is parked cars. Do your part and if possible park in your driveways not the streets.
Thanks everyone.
Be safe.
Stay warm.

We are saddened to share the passing of retired firefighter P. L Waldbillig in late December 2025. He served the Village of Evendale from May of 1961 to June of 1989, when he retired as a Lieutenant. His dedication, bravery, and commitment to this community left a lasting impact on the department and all those he served alongside. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and brother and sisters in the fire service.
