Western hills football will be hosting our 2nd annual golf outing. It will be June 14th at Avon fields golf course. It is $100 per golfer/$400 for a foursome. This includes golf, cart, lunch, drink tickets, prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt and winners. All proceeds go towards paying for equipment, meals and gear for the athletes! Another Mustang Loss for the class of 1976, just saw this today on Celestia’s page, her daughter posted on her mothers page today that she lost her battle with cancer… Celestia’s maiden name was Cluthe. Praying for comfort for her family.

Obituary for Shawn Edward Holwadel at Madison Chapel Mr. Shawn Edward Holwadel, age 54, of Columbus, Indiana entered this life on March 4, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the loving son of Bruce Edward and Judy Ann Craig Holwadel. He was raised in Cincinnati and graduated in 1988 from Western Hills High School. Shawn was inducted into

September now has added another Mustang loss… Peter Edward Rose class of 1960…
In 1976 we dedicated the private drive next to the school as Pete Rose way with a street sign cut in the shape of a baseball bat and a shot put ball painted like a baseball that was welded to the post…that sign disappeared over the years and was replaced …but that day the sign went up we all got to interview Pete for the school newspaper and he was a hoot…he thoroughly enjoyed the attention and told us a few stories and how he was always in touch with the score of the West High games…when I ran into him downtown once he called out to me because I had my West High jacket on…he wanted to know if we had won the Friday night game the night before… guess he may have been in a Reds Uniform for many years but he was always a Mustang…hometown kid that made it big and was one of the Best Baseball players …

September has been a month of loss for two of our Mustang families…we lost Kevin Reinhardt September 5, and Joe Tucker September 22.
