ICYMI: Our Maintenance Program Manager, Matt Marshall, shared with Local 12, WKRC-TV how recent heavy rainfall has impacted County-maintained roads and forced our Snow Fighters to become Water Warriors overnight. π§οΈ
Crews are clearing debris from drains, monitoring storm inlets, and closing County roads when high water makes travel unsafe. π§ With more rain expected today, additional road closures are likely.
Please use caution, stay alert, and never drive through flooded roads. β οΈ

Rain that moved through Wednesday night into Thursday led to four road closures in Hamilton County.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1:00 PM today for Hamilton County and surrounding areas. With additional rainfall expected, road conditions may change quickly, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Several roads in Hamilton County have already been closed due to high water, and additional closures will likely become necessary as conditions continue to worsen.
We encourage residents to use extra caution when traveling and stay alert for changing roadway conditions.
