Interact with PWC as we save homes and restore pride for low-income elderly and disabled homeowners.

For over 40 years, PWC’s staff of licensed, trained employees and dedicated corps of 4,500-plus volunteers have assisted more than 300,000 individuals with critical home repairs and modifications.

PWC recently partnered with our friends at Easterseals Redwood's Building Value to share construction skills as part of their workforce development program.

For our first project, the PWC team demonstrated how to install handrails, giving the Building Value construction training participants real hands-on experience to learn and master a new skill. We look forward to more projects together!

Cut energy costs without cutting comfort. Weatherizing your home is one of the easiest ways to save:

✔ Seal drafts around doors and windows
✔ Add insulation where it’s missing
✔ Upgrade to a smart thermostat

Join us in welcoming Mary Kay Koehler, Director of Major Gifts, to the PWC team! Mary Kay is a nonprofit professional with 17 years of experience serving the Greater Cincinnati community.

She was drawn to PWC's hands‑on, mission‑driven work helping homeowners remain safe and stable in their homes. Mary Kay also enjoys reading the heartfelt thank-you notes our clients send to us. “They show the deep impact our work has on people's daily lives and how caring and respectful the crews are.”

Mary Kay is looking forward to building meaningful relationships with our donors and sharing the stories that show the real impact of their generosity, and explains, “It’s exciting to help connect people to a mission that truly changes lives.”

We are incredibly grateful to have Mary Kay on Team PWC.

According to the American Society of Home Inspectors, collapses and failures of decks, porches, and balconies accounted for about 2,900 injuries between 2016 and 2019.

May is Deck Safety Month, and at PWC, providing repairs to decks and porches is part of what we do to keep our neighbors safe at home – and YOU can help.

Today, we're spotlighting PWC’s Field Service Volunteer, Jim Taylor! 🧰

Jim owned his own remodeling company in Cincinnati for 20 years, building kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and more for members of our community.

He appreciates working with other volunteers, as they “work diligently and are committed to real, quality work, but also have a lot of fun as volunteers.” Jim also enjoys talking to PWC’s clients and learning about their lives: “This work of service has been a blessing to me and hopefully makes our clients’ lives better.”

Thank you, Jim, for your dedication to PWC, our mission, and the Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky communities.

The power of community was on full display this past weekend! 💙

Volunteers from around the region braved the rain and came together for our annual Repair Affair to help homeowners complete critical repairs and home improvement projects that make everyday living safer and more accessible.

From yard work and painting to building decks and stairs, every project mattered. Together throughout the month of May, we took on more than 70 projects. Thank you to every volunteer who gave their time to support our neighbors and strengthen our community.
