Rescue 9 & 14 both operated at the 2 alarm fire late last night in the College Hill neighborhood.

Cincinnati Fire Fighters Union Local 48 extends our deepest gratitude to all who have answered the call to serve in our nation’s armed forces.

Your bravery, sacrifice, and devotion to protecting our freedoms mirror the same commitment our fire fighters bring to their communities each day.

Today, we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the bravery of the first responders who rushed toward danger, and the resilience of a nation forever changed.

For fire fighters, this day carries a solemn weight. The 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice remind us of the courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment that define our profession. Their legacy lives on in every fire fighter who answers the call to serve.

As we reflect, let us carry forward their memory with pride and continue to stand united in service, solidarity, and strength.
