Our Public Affairs team loved connecting with the community at the Healthy Aging Summit! Thank you to Hamilton County 513Relief and the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio for putting together an event tailored to support older Ohioans!

During the summit, we connected with roughly 60 Hamilton County residents to answer questions about our office's property tax relief programs. Our main goal was to raise awareness about these programs, especially the Homestead Exemption.

To receive the Homestead Exemption, property owners must meet the following qualifications:
1. Be at least 65 years of age during the year you first file, or be determined to have been permanently and totally disabled as of Jan. 1
2. Own and occupy your home as your primary residence on Jan. 1 of the year in which you file the application
3. Your 2025 modified adjusted gross income was less than $41,000 (Social Security payments are not considered in the income requirement.)

To learn more about the Homestead Exemption, please visit our website at hcauditor.org.

We were thrilled to receive such wonderful feedback about our team at the AudiTOUR stop in Columbia Township earlier this month. Krista Blum, Columbia Township's Finance Director, introduced the Auditor and praised our staff as "phenomenal" and "extremely responsive." We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team here at the Auditor's Office!

This morning, Auditor Miranda and Treasurer Schiller, Hamilton County Treasurer's Office, had the pleasure of touring the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library's Downtown Main Library. We want to extend a huge thank you to Director Paula Brehm-Heeger for the fantastic tour, a firsthand look at the library's recent updates, and an incredibly insightful conversation. We appreciate everything they do for the people of Hamilton County!

Thank you to the City of Milford, OH for having us at yesterday's council meeting! While only 90 of their parcels (properties) are in Hamilton County, ensuring residents and local leaders have access to our office's resources remains a top priority.
