The passage of HB479 has allocated additional property tax relief for those already receiving the Homestead Exemption. To allow our team to review applications in time to administer the one-time expanded Homestead Exemption relief, we must receive applications with all needed documentation by Friday, October 16th. Please visit www.hcauditor.org/tax_homestead.asp to learn how to submit a complete application.

She shared information about our website’s Property Search Tool, reappraisal dates, the Homestead Exemption, and more. The Levy Information tab within our website's Property Search Tool is a great resource to help you learn about what's on your ballot!

Each election, our team calculates the estimated impact every levy will have on your property tax bill. Start by locating your property on our online Property Search Tool. Then click on the Levy Information tab to view the levy name, type, current annual tax, and estimated new annual tax.

Please note that our office does not take official stances on any local levies, so this tool will not speak to why a levy is needed or how you should vote.
