My great grandmother passed away in November of 2018. It was very painful as we were very close(always going to antique shops and even taking me to see Pokémon the First Movie). She always made the best cookies and when I saw she had a handwritten recipe for them(most were typed), I knew what my grandma’s(her daughter) present would be. This is her handwritten sour cream cookie recipe. I digitally traced it, carved it, resin filled it, and made it into a cutting board as a tangible piece of her memory.
