Volunteer Spotlight!
Tom and Shyla Muranko have been volunteering with All Faiths Pantry for almost two years! When Tom first heard about AFP from a Facebook post shared by his cousin, he and Shyla knew that they wanted to help. They say “We love knowing that something as simple as a bag of groceries can make someone’s week a little easier and brighter. Volunteering lets us connect with people in our community, share kindness, and remind folks (and ourselves) that none of us are truly alone. It’s meaningful to give back, and it feels good to be part of something that matters. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the friendships we’ve made through the pantry. It’s inspiring to see how small acts of service add up to make a real difference. We encourage anyone who’s been thinking about volunteering to give it a try, you may discover you get just as much as you give.”
We love Tom and Shyla and if you are inspired by their commitment to serving older adults and are interested in volunteering as well, then give us a call at (216)496-4329 or email [email protected] to start your volunteering journey!
