Ohio must elect Annette Blackwell for Ohio Auditor. Her experience as Mayor of Maple Heights and in the private sector, along with a clear understanding of how the Auditor can help solve problems, and eliminate mismanagement, make her extraordinarily qualified.
Plus, her opponent is Frank LaRose.
A wonderful opportunity to make sure LaRose is out of office!
Let’s go elect Annette Blackwell.

“ if elected Ohio auditor of state, the Democratic Blackwell aims to reform the office into a body that helps public entities on the verge of fiscal room, moving it away from punitive actions that can hinder efforts to help cities.”

“ if elected as the auditor, Blackwell said she would focus on problem-solving, advising and relationship building. The ladder, she said, could help prevent corruption and mismanagement before it spirals. It also means catching fraud.”

Ohio Supreme Court says people convicted of domestic violence can get guns back 06/05/2026

-In a 6-1 decision, the Ohio Supreme Court on June 2, said a man with a criminal history of domestic violence can petition a state court to get his gun rights restored."

-Justice Pat DeWine authored the 6-1 majority opinion. Justice Jennifer Brunner dissented."

The decision is disturbing.
Justice Jennifer Brunner the only Democrat on the Ohio Supreme Court was the lone dissenter.
Justice Brunner is running for relection, it is critical to
re-elect her to the Ohio Supreme Court.

"Guns in the hands of offenders are a huge risk."
Mary O'Doherty, director of Ohio Domestic Violence Network.

'In her dissenting opinion, Brunner warned that the decision "undermines the public trust, creates a result that is more likely to cause continued harm to victims, and sets the stage for more serious repeat crimes to occur."

"In its most recent report released in October, the Ohio Domestic Violence Network documented a 38% increase in fatalities involving intimate partners and 84% of the fatalities involved fi****ms."

Finally, a smackdown to Trump.
It's a start.

"Four Republicans, joined Democrats for a 2015 -208 vote to end the war in Iran. The Republicans who defected from their party were: Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Tom Barrett of Michigan, Warren Davidson of Ohio and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.

"The 215-208 vote, which was mostly symbolic, marked a new period of congressional unease with the conflict in the Middle East amid an impasse in peace negotiations. Strikes in the region have continued in recent days despite the White House's assertion to lawmakers that hostilities have ended."

"Four Republicans joined with Democrats to support a resolution asserting the legislative branch's war authority and blocking further hostilities in the region. It came just two weeks after the Senate advanced a similar measure."
