***Joint Statement on Proposed Beachwood Library Project***

Cuyahoga County Public Library, Beachwood City Schools, and the City of Beachwood have issued a joint response to residents who have expressed questions and concerns regarding the proposed new Beachwood Library Branch.

The response outlines each organization's role and responsibilities, addresses several concerns raised by residents, and highlights the potential community benefits of this collaborative project, including expanded educational and recreational opportunities, improved accessibility, and infrastructure enhancements.

We value community input and appreciate residents who have taken the time to share their perspectives. All three organizations remain committed to thoughtful planning, transparency, and keeping the public informed as the project progresses.

Please review the attached joint response from CCPL CEO Jamar O. Rahming, Beachwood Board of Education President Megan Walsh, and Mayor Justin Berns for additional information.
