This election week and entire campaign will always be an unforgettable experience to me. Although the result was not what I had hoped, I am proud of our amazing team who supported me endlessly throughout it all. Congrats to on their race wins, as well as to for his win in our race. ENDORSEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with great humility and honor that I announce my endorsement by the Carl Stokes Brigade.

In 1967, Carl B. Stokes was elected to be the Mayor of Cleveland, becoming the first Black mayor of a major U.S. city. His legacy in office of justice and equality at the peak of the Civil Rights Movement and as Cleveland’s 51st mayor will forever be an incredible highlight in our history. Carl B. Stokes is in the distinguished and rare group of those serving in all three branches of government: legislative, executive, and judicial, including Municipal Court Judge from 1983-1994.

I am so proud that our campaign reflects the values of The Carl Stokes Brigade — advocacy, justice, and progress — and I will strive to live up to the standards of this honor during the remainder of my campaign, legal career, and lifetime.
