Berea-Midpark Middle School

As we closed out the 2025-26 school year, we celebrated the milestones of multiple staff members. Educators who have dedicated 20, 25, and 30 years of service to the students of the Berea City School District, as well as educators who are heading into retirement. To Meg, Robin, Laurie, Bob, Shannon, Kathi, and Marilyn, we wish you a wonderful retirement and will miss you dearly.

Today marks Marilyn’s last clock-out at BMMS after an incredible career with Berea City Schools that began in 1995. Over the years, so many students will remember her warm smile and welcoming presence in the library.

Thank you, Marilyn, for the kindness, dedication, and care you shared with generations of students and staff. Your impact on BMMS and Berea City Schools will not be forgotten.

Congratulations to Riya for being recognized as our Student of the Month! 👏

Riya is brave and empathetic. She is always willing to give her best to something new and consistently considers how others might feel. These qualities allow her to lead with kindness and confidence in and out of the classroom.

Riya is an incredibly hard-working student who often takes pride in sharing her amazing work with her teachers. She actively participates in class discussions and small group activities, where she is consistently respectful and kind to her peers.

Berea-Midpark Middle School students brought big ideas and bold flavors to this year’s Food Truck Wars!

This year, seven student-created food trucks rolled into the cafeteria, each with its own concept, branding, menu, pricing, and pitch. Students designed their trucks, created menus, explained their business ideas, and worked to convince visitors why their food truck would be the one to try.

Students had the chance to think like entrepreneurs while practicing real-world communication and marketing skills.
