— WELCOME JONATHAN SMOAK! 🚒
The Clover Fire Department is proud to welcome Jonathan Smoak to our department!
Jonathan joined Clover Fire with a desire to give back to the community he calls home. For him, serving means being willing to step up when someone needs help—not only during an emergency, but also by being involved, helping your neighbors, and doing your part to make Clover a safer and stronger community.
As a new firefighter, Jonathan is looking forward to learning all aspects of the fire service. He especially enjoys the hands-on side of the job, including fire suppression, apparatus and equipment operations, and learning how to work effectively as part of a crew.
Outside of the fire department, Jonathan owns and operates Trifecta Site Solutions, a small family business specializing in land clearing, grading, drainage, landscaping, excavation, and other site work. He also enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in youth sports, including coaching girls soccer.
Jonathan says he knows he still has a lot to learn, but he is ready to put in the time, work hard, and learn from the experienced members around him.
When asked what he would tell someone considering becoming a volunteer firefighter, Jonathan said it best:
“Go for it. You’re going to be asked to learn a lot and step outside your comfort zone, but you’ll be surrounded by people who want to see you succeed.”
👏 Please help us welcome Jonathan Smoak to the Clover Fire Department family!
