Last week, our Caliola Engineering, LLC team came together for our All-Hands event at our headquarters in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event gave our team an opportunity to come together, share updates, align strategic goals, celebrate achievements and most importantly unite as one Caliola. While the day long sessions were exciting, the afterhours events celebrating our employees and Caliola’s 4th birthday put it over the top. Yesterday, Caliola Engineering, LLC’s leadership was honored to be a part of the U.S. Army’s 248th birthday celebration in coordination with National Flag Day. This event was hosted by AUSA Redstone-Huntsville and General Charles R. Hamilton of the U.S. Army Materiel Command gave an amazing keynote, along with honoring Dr. Joe Fitzgerald for his 10 years of service as the Civilian Aide to Secretary of the Army (CASA), North Alabama. What a blessing it is to live in a country draped in a flag of freedom.

Today, the U.S. Army celebrates its 248th birthday, commemorating its June 14, 1775, inception.

The U.S. Army is the oldest of the six military branches was founded as the Continental Army amid the Revolutionary War by an act of the Second Continental Congress. What began as a disorganized collection of British colonists has since grown into an operation comprising more than 463,000 active-duty service members worldwide.

At Caliola Engineering, LLC we thank those service members who put on the uniform every day to protect our freedoms.
