Mr. L.C. nominated Mrs. Fox for the sharpest pencil!

This week's Sharpest Pencil is Mrs. Fox. For those unaware, Mrs. Fox preps about 14 labs within a week. These labs require a level of constant supervision for up to 27 students. Between this and conducting Mountain Math WIN time and her own grading, Mrs. Fox gets it done. Being her hall neighbor, I see and hear (sometimes smell) these labs firsthand. Mrs. Fox is a hard worker who deserves to be recognized for her perseverance, time management, and heart. I'm honored to give her what I hope is only the first in the long line of Kudos she deserves here at MVA.

Congratulations!

Harvey the Hedgehog is showing students what respect looks like in action! 🦔

Through our Moral Focusâ„¢ program, students at our Mountain View Academy learn how virtues like respect show up in everyday moments, like waiting patiently and letting others go first.

Ask your child: How can you show respect today? We’d love to hear their answers in the comments!

Sharpest Pencil Winner!!
Mr. Hansen nominated Mr. L.C. as the next sharpest pencil!

Mr. L.C. has demonstrated tremendous passion, commitment, and empathy in his work with our middle school students. As a new teacher, he has approached each day with a willingness to learn, grow, and reflect on how he can become the best teacher possible for his students. He has shown genuine care for the academic, social, and personal growth of the students he serves, while creating a classroom environment where students feel supported and valued. He has also embraced the importance of teamwork and has consistently demonstrated a desire to contribute positively to the Mountain View Academy community. His willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, learn from others, and continually improve speaks highly of his character and dedication. We are excited to see his continued growth as an educator and are grateful for the passion, empathy, and commitment he brings to our school. Mr. L.C. is not only striving to be the best teacher he can be for his students but is also becoming a valuable and trusted teammate to the entire Mountain View Academy staff.

Mr. Raymond has passed the pencil to Mr. Hansen!

ATTENTION TO ORDERS!

For exceptional meritorious service while serving as the 6-8 Grade Language Arts Teacher. Mr. Hansen distinguished himself through unwavering dedication, outstanding leadership, and selfless service to the entire school. He continuously displayed expert guidance and support to the specials teachers, generously addressing all inquiries and ensuring seamless operational continuity. Furthermore, he sacrificed numerous hours of personal time to organize and secure critical donations for the 6th grade Washington, D. C. trip, directly enhancing the education experience and moral of the student body. His relentless pursuit of excellence, team first attitude, and unyielding devotion to duty reflect great credit upon himself, Moutain View Academy, and National Heritage Academies.
