It is important that we keep an open line of communication between our local community and our military installations, and Friday’s Military Installation-Developer Roundtable showcased just that.

Thank you to Mayor Yemi, our local leaders, and defense industry partners for coming together with representatives from our installations to ensure Colorado’s Fifth stays ready for future missions and growth.

The National Association of County Veterans Service Officers works daily to assist veterans in navigating their hard-earned benefits, ensuring they receive the support they have earned through their service.

They are doing great work to deliver guidance and support that our veterans deserve.

As a co-lead of the House GPS Caucus, it was nice to meet with the GPS Innovation Alliance to learn about their critical work supporting our global satellites and their firm commitment to protecting these technologies from harmful interference.

The Pikes Peak Region is home to many outdoor recreational opportunities and breathtaking sights.

The team at Colorado Springs Convention and Visitor Bureau came to our district office to showcase its vital role in promoting these attractions and more, helping mark as a top destination for tourists who support our local economy.

I stopped by Home Depot in Colorado Springs to hear from the hardworking staff serving our community every day.

These conversations are always valuable and a good opportunity to hear feedback from our constituents about their top concerns.

El Paso County Chair Carrie Geitner joined Congressman Jeff Crank and Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink at Schriever Space Force Base for an important announcement on continued investment in our region's military and space missions.

The announcement highlights the continued growth of Space Force operations in El Paso County, including new federal investment, a $250 million Space Force Operations Facility expected to support 2,500 civilian jobs, and expanded acquisition leadership to advance critical space capabilities.

I joined our local leaders to discuss today’s announcement from the Air Force and how these investments will impact our community. I promised my constituents that after the Space Command move that we would work with the Administration to bring more jobs and missions back to Colorado’s Fifth District. Today, we delivered on that promise.

✅Major Space Force Personnel Growth
