Denver ASMC 2018 PDI Conference Raises $20,000 for AOAF Angels of America’s Fallen is so proud to have been the sponsored charity for the Association of Military Comptrollers 2018 Professional Development Institute conference in Denver, CO. The week was an enormous success, and collectively raised $20,000!! Thank you to all involved!

Does your unit have upcoming promotions, awards, retirements, hails, or farewells? Want to highlight special events or recognize your team on their recent successes?

If so, provide your input or short write-ups to be included in the upcoming ASMC Pikes Peak Chapter Newsletter! You can also include pictures. The deadline is 23 May, so don't want!

As a reminder, nominations for the Executive Committee are due by COB today! There are still several positions open!

Can you believe PDI is a little over 2 weeks away?!

Don't forget to sign up for the Special Events that are scheduled on Tuesday, 29 May! Originally, the links were not working, but they should be up and running now.

The Pikes Peak Chapter executive committee will turn over positions in June. Nominations are now open to all members and we would especially love to see those new members get involved!

Please submit nominations by 16 May to Jennifer Inman or see your unit VP for more information. The newly elected officers will be sworn in at the June luncheon.

Our Queens/Kings of the Springs Bolwing Event was a great way to raise money for the ASMC PIkes Peak Chapter Scholarship fund. We raised $96 and had fun at the same time!

Our chapter is hosting a Membership Drive for the month of March. New members who sign up will recieve $10 off the cost of their membership! Be sure to share the information with those who might be interested!

A special shout out to Anna Johnson, Jim Baker, Mark King, Lori Markey, Jennifer Patterson, Bruce Amos, and Trinia Douglas. They volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity Build Day on March 3rd!

Be on the lookout for upcoming volunteer opportunities!

The next volunteer opportunity will be with the Marian House Soup Kitchen on Sunday, February 4th, from 0700-1100!

The Marian House Soup Kitchen provides meals to more than 600 people every day of the year. Volunteers will assist in food preparation, serving on the buffet line, and clean up after the day's meal. For those interested in volunteering, please contact your unit rep to RSVP and for more information!

We will be holding a membership drive during the January luncheon.

Every new member that signs up will receive $10 off their membership dues! If you know anyone who might be interested in joining our chapter be sure to pass on the information!
