Today, our staff and residents wore green in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental health impacts us all, and recovery, growth, and healing are possible when people have access to support, connection, and hope.
By wearing green, we stand together to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and to remind one another that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💚

Last night, we held a Mother’s Day event and we want to sincerely thank all of the mothers, grandmothers, and loved ones that joined in on the celebration.
Motherhood represents strength, support, resilience, and unconditional love. The opportunity to reconnect with family and celebrate the important women in their lives is a powerful reminder of what our residents are working toward. ❤️💐

April was Second Chance Month and, throughout the month, our residents stayed busy doing the real work of change: engaging with guest speakers, giving back through community service outings, and participating in local events that reconnect them to the community they’re preparing to return to.
Second Chance Month is a nationwide effort to recognize that people are more than their worst mistake. It’s about restoring potential, rebuilding trust, and creating safer, stronger communities for all of us.

Help us congratulate our very own Peer Support Specialist, 🎉 Dustin Starkey 🎉, on graduating from RISE Court on Friday, March 27, 2026.
If you’re fortunate enough to know Dustin, you know that he is truly a living example of resilience and transformation. He lights up every room he walks in to and shows up every day to give back to others. Once a CBCF resident himself, Dustin now stands on the other side of the journey, using his experiences to guide and support others.
His journey is what second chances are all about and how we KNOW recovery is possible.
Congratulations, Dustin! 🥳🎉👏
