Love is in the air! 💞 Today our team is working with municipal court to make dreams come true. Thanks to those who volunteered to work and all the happy couples coming out to celebrate their big day with us. Congratulations!

Yesterday the court celebrated its 26th National Adoption Day with seven families. This day celebrates families who say yes to children in foster care, especially older kids and sibling groups. It's a reminder of what we can accomplish as a community when people come together to serve. Thank you to incredible partners in the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Franklin County Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court, Franklin County Children Services, Capital University Law School (Official), and volunteer attorneys. Thank you to all court staff who worked so hard to make this day special for families, especially Chief Magistrate Kelly Green who leads these efforts every year.

Thank you Franklin County Board of Commissioners for creating spaces for staff and their families to engage in healthy and community building events. Today's 5K was a blast!

Team Probate loves supporting our Hometown Heroes and connecting with residents at Franklin County Office on Aging's annual Older Adult Day at the Columbus Clippers! Thanks Team Franklin County for creating these spaces for community.

Chief Magistrate Kelly Green represented the court today at Planning with Purpose at the Parsons Avenue library branch. Thank you to the Columbus Public Health Living After Loss team for the invitation and to the ADAMH Board of Franklin County for sponsoring this team's important work.

Franklin county Probate Court closed Public Service Recognition Week with another fantastic clinic on Saturday! Thank you to the Franklin County Board of Commissioners and Franklin County Sheriff's Office for opening the county office tower and providing such amazing staff to support the event. Thank you to incredible partners, especially Stonewall Columbus, TransOhio, Equitas Health, and Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio - LASCO for sponsoring costs and recruiting awesome volunteers. Thank you to dedicated Court staff who opted to demonstrate a true public service spirit. And thank you to the residents who were patient through every hiccup, your kindness reminded us all how our service impacts our neighbors each and every day.

Happy Valentine's Day to the 104 couples who got married in our courthouse today, and to everyone who has found love. Judge Mackey and Chief Magistrate Kelly Green visited our Municipal Court colleagues performing ceremonies after our team issued marriage licenses. A huge thank you to our marriage clerks and other team members who stepped up to make the day run smoothly! What a fun day to work at the court!

The court and community partners served hundreds of residents on Saturday. We couldn't have done it without our friends and our amazing staff who gave up their Saturday for their neighbors.
