Mar 27 Mission Summary - Last Night Mission of the 2025 - 2026 Season 🧡
With temperatures in the low 30s, strong winds, and recent storms leaving camps muddy and flooded, many people were facing bitter cold in damaged tents with wet clothes and bedding.
We visited 5 camps and served 70 people, providing warm, dry supplies before overnight temperatures dropped into the 20s.
Many we met seemed especially discouraged by the harsh conditions, and they were deeply grateful for the help.
THANK YOU to our amazing mission team—servers, bluecoats, and driver—for going the extra mile to reach those in need.

March 16th Mission Recap - Over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ served 🙌
Monday night, our team braved single-digit wind chills, snow, and fierce winds for an emergent mission after Friday's was canceled due to the windstorm. With temps dropping to dangerously cold conditions, the need was urgent.
We visited 6 camps and served a record 100 people. One volunteer gave the pants off his back to a camper who had no dry clothing.
By the end of the night, supplies were gone and volunteers were handing over their own hats and gloves.
This is what Mission Warmth is all about. Thank you to every volunteer who stepped up — you made a real difference when it mattered most. ❤️

Our team went on an unscheduled mission last evening, which was a huge blessing to those we served. After a day of pouring rain and plummeting temperatures, the individuals in the camps we visited were incredibly thankful for the warm, dry supplies they received. Our CEO, Greg, was chatting with a camper named Stephanie, who had this to say:
"I've been out here for about a year, and you guys are a lifesaver. It's warm one day in Ohio, and the next day it's 20 degrees and freezing. With all of the rain we had, my feet were soaking wet and I had no socks, but now I have dry boots and socks. I'm so grateful that you came out to help us today."

Happy Waterproof Wednesday!
With constant rain in the forecast, it’s important to highlight the need for waterproof items—especially gloves and boots—for our unhoused community.
Did you know that hypothermia can occur even above 40°F if someone is wet? Many people assume hypothermia only happens in freezing temperatures, but it can set in during cool weather as long as a person is damp from rain, sweat, or humidity.

We're excited to announce our new series, Waterproof Wednesdays! 🧤👢❌💦
Did you know that staying dry can be just as important as staying warm when you’re out in freezing temps?
When clothing or boots get wet, the body loses heat up to 25x faster — putting people at serious risk of hypothermia and frostbite. That’s why Mission Warmth prioritizes waterproof boots and waterproof gloves in our donation drive.
We accept:
🧤 Waterproof Winter Gloves
🥾 Waterproof Winter Boots (all adult sizes)
A pair of waterproof boots or gloves can make all the difference.🧡
