Every Ohioan deserves to feel safe in their own home. I’m proud to introduce the Ohio Safe Homes Act with Rep. Michele Grim — bipartisan legislation that gives victims of domestic violence and sexual violence a path to leave dangerous living situations without facing financial penalties.
This bill is about protecting survivors, empowering them to seek safety, and ensuring Ohio law stands with victims — not abusers. 💜

What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift for moms across our nation — the launch of Moms.gov, a new federal resource connecting new and expectant mothers with helpful support and maternal health resources, like pregnancy centers. I applaud the Trump administration for prioritizing maternal healthcare and supporting families. ❤️

It was an honor to join HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Medina County as he visited Hope Recovery Community to learn more about the important work being done to support Ohioans in recovery.
Secretary Kennedy heard inspiring stories from individuals on their recovery journey and saw firsthand how programs like peer support, education outreach, and the Recovery Farm are helping change lives. I’m grateful for the many community partners working together to bring hope, healing, and opportunity to those battling addiction across Ohio.

It was a joy to spend time with the Leadership Medina County Signature Class and Junior Leaders during their State Government Day at the Ohio Statehouse!
I enjoyed sharing about my role as a state representative and was encouraged by their thoughtful questions and passion for public service. Grateful for the opportunity to invest in Ohio’s next generation of leaders!

I am deeply honored to receive the “Voice for Change Award” from the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence during their Annual Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse.
It was also wonderful to see my friends from RCDV Safe Haven—their work on the front lines supporting survivors is truly making a difference in our communities.
This recognition reflects the important work ahead through the Safe Homes Act—legislation that will help survivors leave unsafe housing situations without financial penalty and find safety when they need it most.
I’m also continuing to advocate for Trey’s Law, ensuring child victims of sexual abuse can never be silenced by nondisclosure agreements.
Grateful for the partnership of OAESV and all those working to protect survivors, promote transparency, and strengthen communities across Ohio.

Transparency matters—especially when it comes to the care of our loved ones.
I’m pleased to partner with Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney on new bipartisan legislation, House Bill 809, to strengthen transparency and accountability in Ohio’s long-term care facilities. This bill expands protections for the use of electronic monitoring devices, helping give families greater peace of mind and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.
Every Ohioan deserves safe, high-quality care and every family deserves to know their loved ones are protected.

Working to protect Ohioans, especially seniors, from cryptocurrency scams.
Recently, Rep. Matt Kishman and I provided sponsor testimony on House Bill 648, the ELDER Act, establishing commonsense safeguards and accountability for crypto kiosks to help prevent fraud and financial loss. 🧾⚖️
We’re taking action to stop bad actors and ensure Ohioans can safely participate in the digital economy.

I voted to support House Bill 646 to create the Ohio Data Center Study Commission.
As data center growth continues across our state, this ensures we’re taking a thoughtful approach by bringing together communities, industry experts, utilities, and policymakers to examine the impacts and plan for the future.
