On the Friday before Mother’s Day each year we pause to praise the husbands and wives of those who serve on National Military Spouse Appreciation Day. We salute the significant contributions, support and sacrifices spouses of the Armed Forces make, along with the tremendous strength and patriotism that they have.

Fran and I join all Ohioans in honoring the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our great country. Ohio is proud to be a military-friendly state, and we are grateful for the sacrifices our service members and their families have made to protect our freedoms.

Working together to expand access to career pathways in manufacturing! Governor Mike DeWine announced $3.2 million in grant funding to help more Ohio schools create, expand, or improve career-technical education programs in manufacturing. We're partnering with the Ohio Manufacturers' Association to ensure the new training programs supported by this funding will reflect the skills that employers need most.
