Today, we proudly celebrate 25 years of dedication, leadership, and heart from Joe Sanders.

For a quarter of a century, Joe has been a steady and trusted presence within our Chamber family — resilient, reliable, caring, and always willing to help wherever needed. Whether he’s keeping us grounded with wisdom and quick wit, supporting our team behind the scenes, or reminding us to “please still be mindful of your spending,” Joe’s impact reaches far beyond finance.

Outside the office, many know Joe through the beautiful moments he captures through his photography, especially his incredible bird photography, his love for good BBQ and caffeine, and most importantly, the pride he has for his family — cheering on Parker at guitar performances, loving Allison fiercely, and spending time with their lab, Finn.

Joe’s passion for this Chamber and this community has made a lasting difference for countless people over the years, and we are incredibly grateful for the loyalty, optimism, and heart he brings every single day.

More than 125 women from across our business community will gather for the 2026 Women in Business Luncheon for meaningful conversations surrounding leadership, career growth, workplace challenges, and creating impact in our organizations and community.

This year's theme, Corporate Lessons at a Local Level, will feature candid insights, practical advice, and leadership lessons from women whose experiences continue to shape the Chattahoochee Valley and beyond.

We're excited to welcome Carter Schondelmayer, Partner at Page, Scrantom, Sprouse, Tucker & Ford, P.C., as moderator for this year's discussion. Additional panelists will be announced soon.

The seed of Growing Room sprouted from the heart of pediatric nurse and working mother Sheree Mitchell, who saw firsthand the need for quality childcare in our community. She believed children deserved more than just affordable daycare — they deserved a place that truly cares for them, challenges them, and helps them reach their full potential.

Today, they continues to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We’re proud to celebrate businesses like Growing Room that are making a lasting impact on families in our community!

Join us for the June Eye Opener Breakfast, presented by J.P. Morgan on Tuesday, June 23 from 7:30–9:00 a.m. at the CSU Cunningham Conference Center.
