CDT Hannah Gill is a Zoology, Environmental Science double major from Waynesville, OH. She served last semester as the Bravo Company Commander and currently serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer.

She has spent 4 years in ROTC, with 3.5 being in Bravo Company. Her favorite ROTC memory is exploring East Africa while taking part in the Army’s Project Global Officer.
�CDT Gill joined ROTC “to have an opportunity to serve others and because I have a lot of respect for Army officers.”

She will branch Aviation into the Army Reserve.

Battalion Sports Day Spring 2025

This morning our BN conducted its annual sports day, putting our 3 companies against each other for the final part of our competition to determine the Undisputed Best Company of the semester.

Our cadets competed in football, kickball, basketball, volleyball, and tug-of-war.

The competition came down to a tie between Alpha and Bravo, with Alpha winning after a company leadership tug-of-war.

CDT Lucas Mark is a Finance major from Rochester, NY.

He spent his first three years in Charlie Company before taking on the role of S4 Logistics Officer, where he had the opportunity to work alongside the Buckeye legend—Mr. Wiehe. He currently serves as an Assistant S3 Operations Officer.

His favorite ROTC memory is competing in Ranger Challenge with his closest friends. He also loved being a part of Project Global Officer, where he studied Mandarin in Taipei, Taiwan.

When asked why he joined ROTC, CDT Mark said, “I wanted to challenge myself, serve a greater purpose, and grow as a leader.”

CDT Mark will be branching Active Duty Armor.

CDT Gregory Musselman is a Microbiology Pre-Med Major from Findlay, OH. He currently serves as the Alpha Company CO and served last semester as a Bravo Company OCT.

He has spent over 2 years in ROTC, but has been in the Ohio National Guard for 4 years. His favorite ROTC memory is Battalion Sports Day.

He joined ROTC to gain leadership development, as well as providing tuition assistance.

He plans to branch Active Duty into the Medical Service Corps.

CDT Sal Buonamici is a Mechanical Engineering Major from Youngstown, OH. He currently serves as an Assistant S3 Operations Officer and served last semester as a Charlie Company OCT.

He has spent 4 years in ROTC, all 4 in Charlie Company. His favorite ROTC memory is the Spring ’24 JFTX.

He joined ROTC “To join an organization bigger than myself, serve the United States, and learn about becoming a leader.”

He plans to branch into the National Guard as a Signal or Cyber Officer.

CDT Caleb Martus is an Industrial Systems Engineering major from Russellville, OH. He served last semester as the Assistant Recruiting Operations Officer and currently serves as Assistant S3 Operations Officer.

He has been in ROTC for 1.5 years, as well as serving in the Ohio National Guard in Bravo Company, 1-137th Aviation Regiment. His favorite ROTC memory is singing with other cadets in the rain while in the field during Cadet Summer Training.

He joined ROTC for “leadership experience, camaraderie, and sense of purpose.”

CDT Martus will branch into the Ohio National Guard as an Aviation Officer.

CDT Kyle Kuder is a History Major from Grove City, OH. He served last semester as an Alpha Company OCT and currently serves as the HHC Company Commander

This is his 4th year in ROTC. For the past 2 years he has served in the Ohio National Guard with the 437th MP HHD.

“I joined ROTC/The Army because of a family legacy in the Army and wanting to serve my country” CDT Kuder stated. His favorite ROTC memory is beating Cadet VonHolle in a rock-paper-scissors game to win the sports day tie-breaker.

He will commission Active Duty Transportation.
