Fort Hayes Medical Assisting Program

School starts 8-26-21
15th years of medical students

We came in for 3 weeks. The students worked on pulses, respiration, and patient histories.

We are still learning via zoom and google classroom thru 12/18.

We hope to return to in person on January!!

Graduated a new group of medical assisting students. Several are AMT certified!!

Students doing a mock toe surgery, one is the doctor, the other is the medical assistant.
We did this for our recruitment tours.

Students start their medical internships around Columbus Monday and several start at the offices of Mount Carmel Medical Group on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Very proud of them.

We return Jan 4th. We are gearing up for our internships. Students are getting excited. The last 2, years gave paid off. Will keep you posted!!

The end of the year is approaching. Had new sites that helped us out.

Students start their internships on Feb 9th. Looking for an east side place, places in grove-city or Hilliard area for a few students. Any help would be great. Private docs are good.

Today we went to Faith mission.
They serve the homeless in and around Columbus .
My senior students had gather food , water and toiletries and we took 3 boxes full today to them.
So proud of them as we helped give back to our community.

They need items all the time and not just at the holidays .
We are doing a campaign of donations for toiletries and food that we will give each month.
