House-made Pomegranate Liqueur
For nearly two months, we have been waiting for the jewels of pomegranates to steep in a neutral alcohol and then for the infusion to cure with simple syrup.
Easy to do (other than the wait). We will definitely try with other fruits.

Now we begin to spend the cold days and evenings reading books, articles and seed catalogs. Just a few weeks will pass before we start the first seeds indoors for the garden.
