Join me in bringing light to the darkness of cancer by donating towards my fundraising efforts in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night.

I am a Survivor!!!
When I was diagnosed 10 years ago I had no clue what was going to happen to me , my children and my new husband. I was diagnosed right before my 1 year anniversary so we have already took in the sickness in our marriage.

September 2008 I started chemotherapy to prepare my body for a stem cells transplant, in January I was admitted into the hospital where I spent the next 4 months of my life . I was overwhelmed with all the support I received for LLS they help me get medication that out of pocket cost was over $1000.00 so this is why I have been doing this walk for 9 years to help others because we never know if or when we or a family member may need help. So I am asking for you to donate to my team and if you would like to have a letter for your donation which can be used to write off on your taxes I can provide one for you.

Money raised through Light The Night allows The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. The impact of LLS supported research goes beyond blood cancers. The discoveries made in blood cancer research have led to break through treatments for many cancers and other serious diseases.

LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocating for lifesaving treatments and pioneering the most promising cancer research anywhere.

God is always right on time god I have been beating myself up about my team & the lack of interest that everyone has been displaying just Thursday I made a decision that the team was going back to the first year when I started it we was going to set up & tailgate , laugh, then walk. I finally understand my passion to help ppl with cancer ain't everyone passion too so I needed to move on.( But god) I walk in church today and someone came up to me & said god told her she needed join my team she thought she missed the walk after I said it's next month she was excited. So welcome Sis King to team Touch By an Angel . You lifted my spirits back up & you didn't even know it. ♥♥♥♥♥

Good afternoon team I wanted to address some issues with our team please don't be so sensitive that you get upset with the post it's so not personal it's about the team & the cause . You all was so hyped about starting this fundraising event early on so we could actually make the goal that's for the team. We (5 member) have been working really hard coming up with ideas & putting them in place (fundraising events) & the team is not behind us we have one active event and none of which u guys are participating in not to mention you guys ignoring our monthly conference calls, or just not replying to any messages sent out. We all a lot going on in our lives but if you are a committed member these things would be important to you. Understand this I am not mad I just need members who are dedicated, committed, and willing to understand it's not about the day of the walk it's so more than that day. This is the last message I will send out about the team not being a team I will be having Alicia our Admin of the group to remove you off the email rooster or any further communication with Team Touched By Angel. I love you all and this will not stop my personal relationship with anyone hopefully you will feel the same way. Leggo Team Touched By Angel I have donations where u at on the team page?
