Last week was a busy week in Columbus with committees and session.

In district, it was fun to attend the City of Harrison, ribbon cutting for the new splash pad and playground renovation! This is an example of what it looks like when state and local government work together to improve our community.

I was also thrilled to attend the ribbon cutting and grand re-opening of Great Parks Shaker Trace Nursery. What a fantastic improvement to Crosby Township!

It was an honor to participate in the Colerain Township Memorial Day Ceremony. May we never forget the service and sacrifice of the brave men and women who gave their lives for our safety and the freedoms we enjoy.

I recently attended a Mt. Healthy Board of Education meeting and presented commendations to Mt. Healthy Early Learning Center and Mt. Healthy North Elementary School for being recognized as 2026 Science of Reading Champions.
This is a tremendous accomplishment and I enjoyed celebrating and recognizing the educators whose work made this accomplishment possible!
Early literacy is critical to the development and success of our children.

I was honored to participate in a beautiful groundbreaking ceremony for the Village of Greenhills Veterans Memorial and Honor path. I am so grateful for our brave men and women who are serving and those who have served our great nation. Thank you for keeping us safe and free! 🇺🇸
