Week 2 is a wrap. Some areas are experiencing spikes in comparison to the average readings. This is not uncommon due to the amount of rainfall we have had over the past week. I am so grateful we are not experiencing the same things the river is enduring in Atlanta currently. Please support our efforts by donating at the link in our bio.

May has come and passed and blessed us with new shifting trends that make springtime so enjoyable. This balance of cool and warm weather has supported our local ecosystem in its own unique way. My personal astonishment of the pure beauty that the river holds for our valley continues to blossom through the opportunity to further engage with both the plants and the people in this community. In this time of growth and preparation for new life, I invite each of you to lay down your self-driven intentions and embrace love for the things that we all cherish. Continue to spread your light in your own individual manner. All the while, continuing to make our community a better place for each of us.
Apologies for the image discrepancy in yesterday’s post. Here are the week 1 numbers again.
And we’re off! Kicking off the season to a good start. Please remember that you and your support are what make this all possible. $50 sponsors 1 site for 1 week. Click the link in the bio or visit our website at chattriver.org and support us today! Step into action and be part of the solution.
Come shake your week off and join us for a short period of time to make a big difference. Brady Baird will be out there running things so y’all come say hello and show your appreciation for all he does for our community.
Shake off your week and come join us for a short period and making things a little better. Brady Baird will be there running the ship tomorrow. Everybody come by and say hello and thank him for all he does.
As we continue to grow and pursue achievements, let us be easy on one another. May we seek not to flex our muscle, but to instead encourage the growth of each of us in partnership together for the greater good of all. This week upon trying to salvage a population of rare lilies the thought came to me of how new growth of another life form resembles pattern. Energy must always regulate to balance. Everything that creates in someway will also destroy. My human influence to try and save what’s left of an old growth population is perhaps one of the largest challenges facing the new growth of another life form species. It is challenging to understand why we humans so often feel that, in order to continue our way, we must stop or change the way of others. Whether this influence is placed on fellow humans or other life forms all are part of the greater earth community. This spring, I encourage all of us to bring balance to our community through love for the outdoors and for the healing energy it provides for all of us. All the while, not forgetting to accept and encourage other humans. I encourage you all to be friendly and say hello.
Each year I continue to grow in awe of the enchantment this soulful species produces. Another great reminder of how partnership with the greater earth community can find sustainability for growth. Hymenocallis Coronaria the Rocky Shoals Spider Lily can be found blooming throughout the 2 1/2 mile whitewater section in Columbus, Georgia through the end of the month of May. Please remember to respect this wonderful resource. Without the flowers, they cannot produce seeds. So please take nothing but the memories of such a beautiful entity which we can all share for this short period of time each year.
