Congratulations to the City of Grandview Heights, Ohio Fire Department on the recent delivery of their new Sutphen custom engine.
This new engine is equipped with Sutphen's Extreme Duty Chassis with seating for 5, a short 186" wheelbase for enhanced maneuverability, a Waterous 1500gpm pump paired with a Waterous AQUIS foam system, a 750 gallon water tank with 20 gallon integral foam cell, and an extruded aluminum body with enclosed ladder storage and lowered hose bed - still achieving over 230 cubic feet of compartment space. Visibility is handled with a Whelen LED warning light package and Fire Research Spectra LED scene lights.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything to protect them.

Heritage Fire Equipment Welcomes Guy Reece as Inventory Specialist

Heritage Fire Equipment is pleased to announce the addition of Guy Reece to its team, where he will serve as Inventory Specialist.
A Columbus native, Guy brings valuable experience in inventory and warehouse management with a strong focus on organization, efficiency, and operational support. His attention to detail and commitment to keeping processes running smoothly make him a great addition to the Heritage Fire Equipment team.
In addition to his operational background, Guy is also an active real estate agent, providing him with a unique blend of logistical expertise and client-focused experience. His ability to build relationships and understand customer needs aligns well with Heritage Fire Equipment’s commitment to service and support.
Outside of work, Guy is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

We’re rounding out our throwback look at apparatus deliveries with one from late last year - this sharp Sutphen custom pumper delivered to the SouthPoint FireDept.
Built on a Sutphen Monarch Extreme Duty chassis, this custom pumper features a Hale 1500 GPM pump, extruded aluminum body with a lowered hose bed, enclosed ladder storage, and more than 220 cubic feet of usable compartment space. The truck is also equipped with a Whelen LED warning light package and Fire Research Spectra LED scene lighting to maximize visibility on every scene.
A great-looking and highly capable apparatus built to serve the South Point community for years to come. Thank you to the South Point Fire Department for the opportunity to be part of this project!

❄️🚒 Throwback to this past winter’s delivery to the Village of Mackinaw City Fire Department 🚒❄️
Their new Sutphen engine officially made its way home during some true northern Michigan weather. And before anyone points it out — no, this wasn’t a recent delivery… the snow on the ground definitely gives that away! 😄
We’re proud to have been part of bringing this new apparatus to the department and appreciate the opportunity to serve the Mackinaw City community. Stay safe and enjoy the new truck!

As we catch up on some deliveries from recent months, we’re proud to share that Bokescreek Fire/EMS Dept in West Mansfield, OH has taken delivery of an Alexis Fire Equipment 3,000-gallon tanker.
This unit is built on a Freightliner 114SD chassis and features a Waterous CXV 1,500 GPM pump. It’s equipped with a 3,000-gallon dump tank and a Newton rear swivel dump, making it a highly efficient asset for water shuttle operations and quick dump cycles on scene.
