Sketchy sketchy sketch!

When the day job asks you to do what you do best. I call it Art Nou-creaux.

I'm sorry. Haha

I broke in my first sketchbook with a little of my Grandpa's room. I'm also trying to get a feel for how long I work on any given thing, so I marked the start and end times of this session.

I like how sketching in pen makes you commit to the marks. You have to think a lot more about them at the start.

Slowly refining everything in my latest piece. I'm enjoying the challenge of painting sheer fabric on a figure. Always try the new thing!

Take two is off to a much better start!

After tonight's painting session, I can tell you that starting over on this piece was the right decision! I can't wait to show you what's cooking!

I am extremely pleased with American Frame. Aegis looks great wrapped up snug in this grey beauty!

Life has been crazy, but I'm getting back on the horse with a little bird drawing. It's fun practice!

The Luxembourg Art Prize finalists will be announced in one day and 20 hours, according to their convenient countdown! The tension mounts!

Here's a new painting I'm starting, to challenge myself. It's four feet wide, which is much larger than I'm used to, and a very limited palette. Let's see what happens!
