What an action-packed, rewarding week it has been thus far representing the 7th Senate District! From my Committee reporting three important pieces of legislation to providing testimony on three of my own bills, the best part was finding the time to meet with some outstanding constituents and speaking with OSU’s Scarlet Student Investment Group.

My visit to Warren County Career Center's Atrium Campus was a splendid way to start the morning! These bright young minds are getting outstanding, hands-on experience that will certainly help propel them into successful careers in the life sciences. Thank you to Superintendent King, his great staff, and the students for their hospitality!

Having the chance to promote the Buckeye Trail in becoming our twelfth National Scenic Trail on the Senate Floor was a labor of love! Thank you to my colleagues for their unanimous support that this effort received.

It feels good being back in the Ohio Statehouse working on important issues! I enjoyed presiding over yesterday's non-voting Session and, as always, Chairing the Senate Financial Institutions, Insurance and Technology Committee.

I was proud to have joined my Hamilton County Delegation colleagues last week for this momentous ribbon cutting at the new-and-improved Cincinnati Convention Center. This investment means more jobs, more visitors, and more opportunities for our region and state to prosper!
