Replacing street signs in Southeast Columbus is just part of our Clean and Safe Corridors program expansion. Today, I joined city leaders, area commissioners, small business owners, and residents to talk about progress. Along Refugee Road, we’ve increased police presence, removed litter and graffiti, repaired sidewalks, enhanced green spaces, and strengthened support for small businesses and workforce development. This is what real investment in our neighborhoods looks like. We’re committed to building a cleaner, safer, and stronger Columbus for everyone. It was an honor to celebrate Africa Day at City Hall. Africa’s influence is felt everywhere, in music, art, science, faith, cuisine, and in movements for justice that have shaped our world.

Here in Columbus, that impact is part of who we are. Our city is stronger because of the African immigrants, refugees, entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare workers, artists, and advocates who call Columbus home. Thank you. We see you, we support you, and we appreciate you.
