🌟 June Resident of the Month: Dorothy “Dot” Eley Poss 🌟
Legacy Reserve at Old Town is proud to celebrate Dorothy “Dot” Eley Poss as our June Resident of the Month!
Dot has called Legacy Reserve home for seven months. Before making her move, she prayed for God to make it clear if Legacy was where she was meant to be — and one thing after another fell beautifully into place. Today, Dot says she is confident she made the right decision.
“I love the security and comfort of Legacy. I have great friends and kind neighbors. I can’t ask for much more.”
To know Dot is to know kindness, warmth, and joy. She is a proud mother of two and lovingly known as “Dot Dot” to her granddaughter. After retiring from teaching in the Gwinnett County School System, Dot has continued to live life with purpose and adventure.
Here at Legacy Reserve, Dot serves as the Ambassador for our first-floor residents and is always involved — from water aerobics to community activities. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, and spending time with family. She has traveled the world, including Australia, South America, and Europe, and has even hiked along the Appalachian Trail.
Dot plans to continue traveling, discovering new hiking spots, and embracing every adventure ahead.
Life is full of wonders, and Dot welcomes the adventure with joy. We are so proud to honor her as our June Resident of the Month! 💛
