The purpose of the Ohio Young Black Democrats is to introduce, develop and encourage an active interest in governmental affairs and the electoral process at the local, state and national levels of the United States of America among the African-American community throughout the State of Ohio.

In our current times, Black Ohioans lack a clear political direction or established agenda, let alone a space to organize, educate, and empower one another, and build Black political power in Ohio. Now, more than ever, is the moment in time where coming together, building community with one another, and ORGANIZING so in November of 2025 & 2026, we can begin to right the ship in Ohio.
This summit will be an opportunity for us to gather together, to learn, to educate, and to build the collective agenda needed to organize in our community.
