The Hyatt Regency was packed on Monday for the Columbus Urban League’s 2016 Empowerment Day Luncheon. Stephanie Hightower and her staff put together a moving program highlighting the suffering society has imposed on the poor and minorities among us and making an impassioned plea for all sectors of the community to actively get involved in dealing with those issues.

I forgot to say thanks to everybody who came to my fundraiser last Thursday at Tony’s. We had lots of attendees and a good time was had by all!

Enjoyed attending The Clinton Heights Lutheran Church Chili Cook off and Candidates Night this past Sunday. Most of the county candidates attended and each one spoke for up to 3 minutes. The chili and cornbread were superb!

Thrilled to be rated "highly recommended" by the Central Ohio Association for Justice. COAJ represents more than 200 attorneys in Central Ohio and I appreciate their recommendation of me to the court.

Finished up a busy Tuesday by speaking and answering questions from voters at a forum sponsored by The Franklin County Consortium For Good Government and The League of Women Voters Metro Columbus. The event was moderated by Jerry Revish of WBNS-TV and took place at The Peggy McConnell Arts Center in Worthington, which is a wonderful facility.
