1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment inactivated at Fort Benning
Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division said it was bittersweet Friday as the 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment cased its colors in a quiet ceremony on Sledgehammer Field.

This afternoon The Rock's Support held their inactivation ceremony, casing the Battalion Colors after 98 years of faithful service to the nation.

Last night former and current members of 1-10 FA met at Uchee Creek to celebrate the rich history and comraderie of The Rock's Support Battalion prior to the Inactivation Ceremony on 11 DEC 2015.

This morning Soldiers and families of The Rock's Support Battalion held a Battalion Fun Run followed by refreshments at Keifurt Gym. Afterwards, Officers and NCOs squared off against each other during the 1-10 FA Turkey Bowl and the NCOs ultimately achieved Victory.

On Friday, November 13th, three Soldiers from The Rock's Support Battalion where recognized for demonstrating exceptional selfless service by rendering aid at the scene of a car accident on I-85. In recognition of their clear thinking and devotion to Army Values SPC Trawick, SPC Hopkins, and SPC Latus received a BDE Coin from BDE CSM Roark.

Congratulations to all of The Rock's Support Soldiers who graduated Air Assault School today. Each Soldier was presented with a 1-10 FA Battalion coin from CSM Craven, who also served as the guest speaker for the graduation ceremony.
