“There’s no more important job right now than being a lawyer,” ONU Law Dean Charles Rose told a room of law students, faculty, and staff.

Rose, who recently authored an article for the Toledo Law Review, spoke about the role of law schools in the 21st century. He noted that pressures on legal education are at their highest point in recent history, while democracy and the concept of self-rule face increasing strain.

His message to aspiring lawyers was clear: always do the right thing — even when no one else is looking.
