State Senator Dave Burke (R–Marysville) today introduced legislation to serve as a comprehensive overhaul of Ohio’s Medicaid program. “The cost of the Medicaid program grows each year, which is the heart of the Medicaid debate,” said Burke. “Every year, we see the program consume more of the state budget, and if we choose not to act, we’ll see our state financially strapped by just one piece of the budget.”
