5/54th SFAB

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the Ohio National Guard is reviewing and adjusting its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. WO1 David Litt was recently selected as the 54th SFAB's Advisor of the Month. WO1 Litt, Ohio National Guard, is a Construction Engineer Technician with 5/54th SFAB. Outside of the National Guard, WO1 Litt runs mutliple businesses and competes in The Tactical Games.

In December, EAT 6512 (Engineer Advisor Team) assisted with Philippines Army TRADOC (Training and Doctrine Command) Engineer School FTX (Field Training Exercise).

The FTX combined all Officer and NCO graduates from their basic and advanced Engineer Officer and NCO courses and served as the final certifying Engineer event in preparation for the TRADOC CATEX.

The FTX was 5 days and combined all Engineers into an assaulting force and defensive force of an objective. The Engineer soldiers incorporated all aspects of mission planning and ex*****on to include specific Engineer tasks of Mobility and Countermobility.

Another example of how our partners and the advisors of 5th SFAB are creating interior lines through human interoperability of ground forces throughout the .

Campaigning Today, to Win Tomorrow!

The Ohio Army National Guard’s 5th Battalion, 54th Security Force Assistance Regiment Advisor Team 650 stands for a picture in Guatemala following the closing ceremony for CENTAM Guardian 23 this spring. CENTAM Guardian is an annual multinational exercise designed to build capacity and capabilities with Central American partner nations, including the areas of humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
