If you’re following the recent discussion around Columbus fire coverage, you may see Bexley mentioned because of CFD Station 15’s ladder truck, which has a part under repair. We’re fortunate to be served by four nearby CFD battalions, with a minimum of two ladder trucks dispatched to any working fire. Columbus Fire has done a great job of communicating coverage plans with us, and after many years of close partnership, I can confidently say that Bexley residents continue to receive outstanding fire protection and emergency response services, thanks in no small part to the men and women of CFD who serve with unparalleled competency, professionalism, and dedication.

Register your young rider or aspiring rider for our upcoming e-bike/e-scooter training class on May 17 at 1:30 pm! At the class, Bexley police officers will educate kids on Bexley's bike/e-bike/e-scooter laws, safe riding tips, safety equipment requirements, and best practices. Kids will also have an opportunity to register their e-bike in order to be compliant with Bexley's e-bike law. For more information and the class registration link, visit bexley.org/ebike

Special Blast: Storm Cleanup Update - Citywide Limb Pickup Starting Monday 03/15/2026

To help residents with storm cleanup on their property, the City has arranged for crews to remove limbs and branches beyond what Rumpke typically accepts. Snow clearing update: snow crews are continuing to work on street clearing and we have moved to the alleys with our smaller plows. Our goal is to have all alleys cleared by this evening. If you see one of our hard working service employees out and about give them a wave and a smile - they’re working around the clock and doing a great job! ❄️❄️❄️
